Printer Friendly VersionAngels are still needed for Clayton Library!

The Angel program was created in 1994 to provide funds for periodicals Clayton Library would like to receive but are in excess of their periodical budget. Anyone interested in becoming an “Angel” by underwriting one or more of the following periodicals should contact Liz Hicks, Angel Chair, (713) 944-1118 or e-mail:  erootrot@usa.net to see if it is still available.

Donations can be made ‘in memory of’ or ‘in honor of’ someone(s) and will be acknowledged in The Clayton Advocate (the CLF newsletter). Upon request, a bookplate can be placed in the bound periodicals at the end of the year. Donations for binding are also needed.

“Angels” (donors) this year have paid for 56 of the periodical subscriptions for 2010 but the following are still needed for Clayton Library:

Family Tree Magazine & CD
(monthly, covers United Kingdom) $120/yr.  Clayton staff use this to find new British material for library. Any partial donation towards this publication will be appreciated.

Idaho Genealogical Society Journal $19.00

Internet Genealogy $28.00

Branchin’ Out (Marissa Historical & Genealogical Society-Illinois) $20.00

Ross County Genealogical Society Newsletter (Ohio) $15.00

Tap Roots (East Alabama Genealogical Society) $25.00

Shelby County (Alabama) Historical & Gen. Society (biannual and newsletter) $20.00 - Clayton would like to obtain back issues 2002 to present as well.
