This is a biweekly roundtable discussion for Clayton Library Friends members and the general public related to genealogy research. 

Topic: "Bataan Death March: A Soldier’s Story" with Carol A. Peña

In this session, we will touch on the history of the fall of Bataan and remember the fallen and survivors of the Bataan Death March. It will include the story of one soldier who survived and the genealogical research and sources that tell his story.

Carol A. Peña is a native Texan with a passion for genealogy and creative writing. This fifth generation Texan has been researching her maternal line since 2011. Carol is an active Board member of the Bay Area Writers League and has published family stories in several anthology-style books. Connect with Carol on her website at www.carolapena.com.
